Our story began in 1982, when the generation before us started travelling with a curiosity that went far beyond discovering new places. Every journey became an opportunity to seek out objects with a story — pieces shaped by local traditions, skilled hands and cultures different from our own.
Over the years, that passion became part of our family. We learned to travel slowly, to look beyond the obvious, to wander through markets, small workshops and unexpected places, always searching for something special.
Today, Silk Route Spire continues that journey.
We curate objects, textiles, accessories and unique finds discovered along the way — pieces chosen not simply because they are beautiful, but because they carry a sense of place, craftsmanship and authenticity.
Some are handmade, some are vintage or antique, others are contemporary pieces created using traditional techniques. What connects them is the same instinct that started our story more than forty years ago: the pleasure of finding something extraordinary where others might simply pass by.
For us, travel has never been about collecting souvenirs.
It is about collecting stories, craftsmanship and beauty — and bringing a little of that world home.
